Saadgi Fashion Show

Saadgi - Simplicity
A step is taken forward to encourage weavers so that they can get back to their roots and traditions. Saadgi is designed to spread awareness about the importance of naturally made clothing, that is trendy, versatile and most of all eco-friendly. Our aim is to inculcate a sense of culture and tradition in today’s youth.

Cause of the event:
'Saadgi' is a Tribute To The Handloom Weavers and the vision is to bring Handlooms to the wardrobes of the young generation.

The event Saadgi - Simple is Beautiful commemorated the faces behind the NJ curtains who weave the modern and edgy designs, and all the noble fighters who are contributing a lot to the society and relentlessly working towards the upliftment of the weaver community. This annual event which will also serve as a way to encourage others to show their support for traditional weaving work.

Mamatha Tulluri also dedicated her show Saadgi to the International Women's day (8th March 2017) to commemorate the sheer strength and solidity of women’s employment.

Showstoppers/Models:
Show stopper for the event are Upen Reddy (Dhruva fame), Telugu hero Jayanth Reddy, Shalini Vadnikatti who is a noted actress in Kannada Industry (also began her career in Telugu film industry) and Dhrithi Saharan, a well noted Punjabi actresses and Indian Idol winner.

Designer's Signature:
Mamatha Tulluri’s garments are infused with contemporary Indianness and give the attire a royal look with meticulous details, embroideries and soothing color combinations.
